Proctiv's move mountain sheared off a mountaintop and inverted and levitated it.
The material components for this spell were a mythallar (which needed to be placed in the new city within two weeks), a magical device that allowed flying or levitation, and a crystal ball.[3]
Without this spell the construction of enclaves would have been near-impossible.
History
The spell was created by the arcanist Proctiv in 1746 NY (-2113 DR).[4][5] As an epic spell, it could no longer be cast due to the restrictions placed on magic by Mystra after Karsus's Folly in 3520 NY (-339 DR).[6] Later ages remembered the spell simply as move mountain.[1]
