The Protection sphere was a group of spells granted to clerics, shamans and, to a lesser degree, crusaders[1] Beneficial auras and magical shields were the main focus of this sphere.[2][3]

Spells in normal text were listed in the Tome of Magic 2nd edition.[4] Spells in italics were added to the Protection Sphere in the Player's Option: Spells & Magic sourcebook.[5]
