Quell are ghostly undead creatures that despise the concept of life and the connection the living have to the gods. In essence, they hate the act of worship and the very presence of a quell can isolate a worshiper from the touch of their god. This power is called intercession. A quell can lash out at a divine spellcaster of any deity and prevent him or her from using their power. Several quell can work together to intercede against even high-level clerics. Because of their unique abilities, quell are often used by necromancers to protect themselves from divine powers. As creatures of death and darkness, quell are powerless in daylight and will try and flee from it. [1]
