The Rauric languages were a family of languages with an origin in the Old Empires and Zakhara.[1]

Language GroupsEdit

Scholars divided the family into two major branches, the Mulani and Untheric languages.[1] Some also placed the Chessentic languages in this group, since those languages were also spoken in the Old Empires,[2] but they were not truly related.[3]

HistoryEdit

The Imaskari languages strongly influenced the Rauric languages of Mulhorani and Untheric,[2] through the Ancient Imask languages Rauran and Reian, which were spoken in the region before the coming of the Mulan.[1]

InspirationEdit

The grouping up the Rauric languages was inspired by the real-life Hamitic and Semitic languages.[1]
