The Red Thunder Mercenary Corps was formed by the centaurs from the Chondalwood after they participated in the Battle of Five Crowns in the war against the arcanaloth Yrkhetep.[1]
Later they fought in the Shaar, Vilhon Reach and Bloodstone Lands, recruiting more members. After the Horde Wars they established themselves in the Hordelands, where they recruited a local centaur tribe.[1]
