Rethnor is one of the five High Captains of the city of Luskan. Along with the others he is an experienced adventurer and a former pirate.^[1] He is an ally to the Kraken Society. ^[2] In The Pirate King by R.A. Salvatore, Rethnor dies of old age and is replaced by his son Kensidan the Crow.
