Richard Baker, full name: L. Richard Baker III, grew up on the Jersey shore before graduating from Virginia Tech University. At some point he joined the Navy and was stationed in Virginia, Rhode Island, and Louisiana. He has previously worked for TSR, Inc., but now works for Wizards of the Coast as an author and game designer. Rich currently lives in Pacific, Washington, with his wife, Kim, and two daughters, Alex and Hannah.
