A ring of lore was a magical ring giving powers of knowledge.[3][2]
Powers[]
It granted the wearer the ability to cast legend lore and stone tell once each per tenday with the correct command word. They could also find magical traps with the knack of a rogue.[3] Every time the ring was used there was a small chance it would completely vanish from the face of Toril[1]
Creation[]
One required knowledge of the spells find traps, legend lore, and stone tell as well as the ability to forge magical rings to craft a ring of lore.[2]
