Sahbuti Shanardanda is a member of the Dark Moon, a Sharran order of monks who are the elite of Shar's followers. He was born and raised in Amn and taught of the worship of Shar while still very young. Sahbuti now travels the Sword Coast from Waterdeep to Calimshan, doing the work of his goddess which usually involves escorting Dark Moon officials, guarding valuable shipments for the church and occasionally assassinating Shar's enemies. He is adept at arriving at exactly the place where he is needed most.
Sahbuti loves nothing and no one, his only companion is a Shadow named Shemnaer who he knows is loyal, but doesn't treat with any kind of familiarity. Sahbuti believes that the loneliness and bitterness he constantly feels will be relieved once he is dead. He brooks no criticism of his abilities and quickly accepts duels. He is terse, to-the-point and very confident and like all of his brethren, a staunch opponent of Selûne.
