A shadow screen was a unique magical barrier that could only be seen through from one direction.[1]
Description
The shielded side of a shadow screen always appeared as a shifting haze of gloom to those views from the opposite side, while the individual behind the screen could clearly see everything on the other side.[1]
Uses
One documented use of a shadow screen was in Urtos Dulbiir's establishment in Arabel where the screens were used by anonymous voyeurs who watched others cavort around in elaborate costumes and "play act."[1]
