Sibonseni, known as Mother Sibonseni or the Mother of Prosperity, was the chief priest of Waukeen in Port Nyanzaru during the late 1480s or early 1490s DR.[1]

One of the city's most influential residents after the merchant princes, Sibonseni enjoyed tremendous support from every layer of Nyanzaru society for the temple's charitable work and for its support of civic improvements. When Mother Sibonseni traveled through the streets, she rode in an elegant sedan chair accompanied by drummers, singers, dancers, and temple aides who distributed fistfuls of copper coins to the poor. This caused numerous traffic jams, but the people of the city loved her.<[1]
