The staff of scrivening originated in Myth Drannor [1] and it is covered with symbols of quills and runes in many languages. It contains the amanuensis, comprehend languages, erase, and read magic spells, and two of the suppress glyph spell. It is worth around 54,000 gold pieces.[2]
