The Stone Stand was a stone circle in the High Forest in the Silver Marches. It contained a large oak tree, grown from a cutting from the Grandfather Tree. The site was sacred to the Tree Ghost tribe.[2]

DescriptionEdit

In the past this ancestral mound belonged to the Blue Bear Tribe. Afterward the Blue Bear Tribe became extinct. The mound was guarded by ghosts of many warriors of the tribe, each of whom had been in life a fierce and bloodthirsty fighter. The site was then consecrated to Malar the Beast-Lord.[3]
