Aarakocra deitiesEdit

For those interested, Christopher Jones in Roger E. Moore ed. (August 1987). Dragon #124 (TSR, Inc.), p. 37. has a description and statistics for Krocaa, the god of the aarakocra. However, he is not canon to the Forgotten Realms. —Moviesign (talk) 02:28, January 6, 2015 (UTC)

Funny, I was just reading about aarakocra deities in FR this morning! The North: Guide to the Savage Frontier lists them as Syranita, Akadi, Aerdrie Faenya, Stronmaus, and Remnis, so you seem to be correct about him not being canon.
Perhaps Syranita is Krocaa? Is there info about Syranita anywhere? ~ Lhynard (talk) 15:04, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
Syranita is the goddess of the aarakocra according to Monster Mythology. (Just as Krocaa is the god of the aarakocra according to the Dragon article, but Monster Mythology is the more recent source. The two deities share some similarities but seem distinct to me.) The Great Library of Greyhawk has some info about Syranita. Daranios (talk) 18:26, January 8, 2015 (UTC)

4e Edit

I'm looking for the images to post the tabbes for these guys, and so far I have pinned 5e, 3 is on the page, 2e and Fiend folio. According to Wikipedia the only 4e Aarakocra are in the dark sun campaign, if I find any image should I post them? source

(Blech! In 5e, their wings are no longer attached to their arms. How I hate inconsistencies between editions!) ~ Lhynard (talk) 15:58, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
Now they look more like the early version of kenku! (Vonar) Maybe now the case can be made for them being the "good" version of the kenku? Terrorblades 's Far Realm logs dated 16:17, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
