Wonderful, parts of a lost world called Abeir are transplanted onto Toril? Quin 20:14, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

That's the 4th Ed. version of the story, yes. In 3rd edition, there was just Toril. In 1st and 2nd, there was just Abeir-Toril (and this post-1000 DR: long after the supposed -30k DR sundering of the planet).

This is mostly just a way to explain the practical absence of everything but the continent of Faerûn in 3rd edition by literally getting rid of parts of it they abandoned pre-3e, and to remould the setting to fit 4th edition's vastly altered design, even though it required retconning large sections of the canon at that point. I noticed that there weren't many facts about the time period when it was the Abeir-Toril, so I decided that I would write by novel in that time period. I haven't published it yet, but when I do I will add to the era. --Zerazzt (talk) 23:45, February 19, 2017 (UTC)

Unless you're published by Wizards of the Coast, then your novel would be fan-fiction. We don't accept fan-fiction on the wiki, only canon and licensed material. — BadCatMan (talk) 01:02, February 20, 2017 (UTC)
