I like the idea of adding links to the various equipment supplied by Aurora's, but do we really need ALL of these links? I mean there are links to "bags", "aprons", etc. Seems like it might be more fitting to remove the mundane stuff. Artemaz (talk) 16:48, March 15, 2017 (UTC)

The reason why this might be interesting is that some (actually, most) of the mundane items in the catalog have an in-world history of origin that could be used by DMs to grant some depth to their descriptions. The hurdy-gurdy, for example, having been invented by a specific gnome, vanilla coming exclusively from Maztica, and so on. Most of the items that did not merit any in-world connection just appeared in price lists anyway, and were not linked. Sirwhiteout (talk) 18:10, March 15, 2017 (UTC)

In-universe[]

Should we create another article for the in-universe version of the Catalogue? --Zero (talk) 19:44, November 30, 2017 (UTC)

Probably. We did for Volo's Guide to All Things Magical and Volo's Guide to All Things Magical (in-universe). —Moviesign (talk) 20:00, November 30, 2017 (UTC)
I think so, though to some extent the in-universe book is practically the same as the real-world book, but it would be weird to treat them as such. Besides, they'd have different publishing details. :) Ideally all the Volo's Guides should also have both in-universe and real-world pages; there are more in-universe (Volo's Guide to the Vast) than were published in the real world. — BadCatMan (talk) 03:12, December 1, 2017 (UTC)
I think that any in-universe information can be included in this article without much issue. OTOH, I might suggest expanding the Aurora's Emporium article to include the in-universe catalog information instead of simply linking to this article.
