Is "Creature Collection V" really a list of Realms' monsters? ~ Lhynard (talk) 20:43, August 24, 2015 (UTC)

Probably not right now, but that doesn't mean that one or more of them won't ever appear in the Realms in the future.... —Coswig (talk) 05:35, August 25, 2015 (UTC)
While that is true, it goes against our general trend of how we do things here. The box at the top says "Only topics that fall within Realms canon should be presented here…;" if at a later time norkers are added to an FR novel and then someone writes a norkel article and sites Dragon #343, then we can worry about putting it back. ~ Lhynard (talk) 15:25, August 25, 2015 (UTC)
Hmmm, why not keep article... reminds me of my Dragon magazine 2 which introduces remorhaz... there was no Forgotten Realms in 1976... I feel we should keep the article... maybe add the "unrelated" template to the section... thoughts? - Darkwynters (talk) 22:48, August 25, 2015 (UTC)
I like the idea of keeping it as an index. While there may be a norker article written in the future, people may not realize that there is information about norkers in Dragon #343. (Even I wouldn't remember that, having created this article.) However, I'm not incredibly attached to it, so do what seems best. ——Coswig (talk) 01:30, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
Well, it also says "…or articles from core D&D that are applicable to the Realms." So, if at least one of the 12 monsters appears in the Realms, then this article would be covered by that statement. I vote keep it in and add the Unrelated tag until we can determine if it is related. Does anyone have this magazine to know what 12 monsters are in it? —Moviesign (talk) 01:50, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
It's back in the history. The edit can just be reverted if that is the decision.—Coswig (talk) 14:48, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
For ease of reference, the monsters are: Arcane dragon, chupacabra, gray shiver, hellchain weaver, hex dragon, living wall, malfera, norker, nuckalavee, rune dragon, tome dragon, warturtle, and white hart. Daranios (talk) 15:20, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
I agree, Moviesign, but my point is that none of those 12 monsters have a connection to the Realms. Whereas, in Darkwynters' example, the remorhaz is seen in the Realms. ~ Lhynard (talk) 15:35, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
Now that I know the names of the monsters, I'll keep an eye out for a connection. —Moviesign (talk) 15:57, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
Coswig called it. Norkers are mentioned as having been seen in Southkrypt Garden, an abandoned dwarven hold and silver mine in the Sword Mountains. Reference is

Awesome! Bringing back that article then.… ~ Lhynard (talk) 03:24, August 28, 2015 (UTC)
