This articles a bit sparse, surely there's more info on half-dragons?
Some possible sources of info

Not strictly half dragon but on reaching tenth level they are meant to take on the half dragon template

I know there using a slightly different system but a lot of things seem to line up.
AD&D Half-Dragons?[]
The Half-Dragon did have a presence in the Realms in AD&D 2nd edition; issue #206 of Dragon Magazine has the article "Part Dragon, All Hero", which includes a specific section examining the species of half-dragon native to Faerun. These are described as the Half-Gold, Half-Silver, Half-Bronze, Half-Steel, and Drow-Dragon (Half-Drow/Half-Deep Dragon). However, the AD&D half-dragon was a very different creature to what it become in 3rd and subsequently 5th edition, being only born from male dragon/female human or demihuman pairings and having a distinctive appearance, consisting of an elf-like creature with serpentine eyes, oddly colored skin & hair, clawed fingers, and stubby horns. Should we expand this article to include information on the AD&D version, and if yes, how, given they are clearly entirely different interpretations of the same basic concept?--Ranime Codexer (talk) 02:39, August 4, 2019 (UTC)
- There are two approaches we've followed for cases like this. First, if the lore and concept aren't too different or have a lot of overlap, then it can be included on the same page. So, this article could take about an older variety or theory of half-dragon, with such-and-such a heritage and traits (using the 2e lore), and a newer variety of half-dragon, with the more general heritage and traits (using the 3e and later lore). By clarifying what a paragraph is referring to, then the difference is made clear. For example, this is the approach at shadar-kai (formerly two separate articles). The second approach, if the lore and concept seem incompatible and don't overlap, then the older race can go on a different page and be treated as a different race. For example, kenku and kenku (winged). Deciding which approach to follow needs a close examination of the lore (say finding all half-dragons in the Realms and working out which models they follow and if any exist in both versions) and some discussion with other editors who might have some ideas or know of some more lore. — BadCatMan (talk) 05:54, August 4, 2019 (UTC)
