It's spelled Rauthenflow in both FR10 and the Horde/1055 box, in both the text and on the maps. I've never seen the spelling Rauthengflow. Due to all the warnings in the rename process, and my newness here, I'll let someone else rename it. :)Wanderscribe (talk) 19:03, December 16, 2012 (UTC)

Don't be afraid to make a change, especially if you know you are right :) Worst that could happen is someone would revert your change for a good reason. I renamed the page after checking source and the "What links here" list (nothing did) and a search on the correct spelling shows that Mulhorand now has a fixed link. :) Next question: should this have been renamed "Rauthenflow" instead? Should we keep the "River" part of the name? I thought we didn't include titles in names, but not sure if that applies to geographical features. Should this be named like the River Styx?—Moviesign (talk) 21:35, December 16, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for doin the dirty work! :)
Good catch on the "river" question. I see it written as "River Rauthenflow" in a few places: the header of its description on page 15 of FR10, and on the maps in 1055 and the original paperback FR atlas. The text of both descriptions, and miscellaneous other mentions throughout both books, all refer to it as "the Rauthenflow" or (in one case) simply Rauthenflow, as in "few boats attempt to ride the rapids of Rauthenflow..."
So... personally, I think it's redundant to have "river" and "flow" in the same name... but that's just my aesthetics. Looks like the formal name is River Rauthenflow, omitting the silly "river" for casual usage.Wanderscribe (talk) 22:50, December 16, 2012 (UTC)
I had a similar problem with River Vesper: every source on it usually put the "river" in front and capitalized it, with occasional shorthands of "Vesper" following. Some Realms rivers are just named that way. — BadCatMan (talk) 07:23, December 17, 2012 (UTC)

Hey DW, I am 99.44% sure that my copy of Old Empires (sourcebook) does not have the misspelled header on page 15, because I checked it before renaming this page. I suspect it was corrected in a later printing, but I'll check again when I get home.—Moviesign (talk) 13:55, December 17, 2012 (UTC)

My copy of Old Empires also spells it correctly. I didn't even think about there being multiple printings, or typos fixed. My bad.Wanderscribe (talk) 16:47, December 17, 2012 (UTC)
Hmmm, my copy has it spelled Rauthengflow... copyright 1990... it does not say first edition, but I guess this might be the case... I mean I can put down the ISBN, but I do not think that changes based on editions... hmmm, very interesting... Darkwynters (talk) 18:26, December 17, 2012 (UTC)
