I found what I could about this shadowstuff and made an article out of it, though I'm still in the dark (ha ha) about what it actually is. Every source mentions it like you should already know what it is, but none takes the time to spell it out. - Is "mystery" the name for a shadow magic "spell"? The phrases "carpet of shadow mystery" and "feign life mystery" don't make a lot of sense unless this is the case. If so, then this should be explained on the shadow magic page and the {{Spell}} template needs to be updated to handle this variant. - Yes, a "mystery" is shadow magic's version of a spell, at least in Tome of Magic 3.5. It's rather involved, and I didn't want to go to that length, as it's a core system that didn't get a big crunchy presence in the Reams, and we don't yet have any of it on the wiki.
