Tamura Tenryu was a samurai of Fochu Peninsula in Wa around 1358 DR.[1]

Tamura Tenryu was the shoya of the village of Ayoi in Fochu Peninsula.[1]

Tenryu considered himself superior to the local villagers and had a desperate need for an intelligent conversation. He pressed all his guests to attend an incense ceremony before being welcomed in the village.[1]
