Tanalasta Obarskyr (known informally as Tanny[1] or Tana[2]) was the eldest daughter of King Azoun IV and Filfaeril Obarskyr. She was the heir of the throne of Cormyr until her death in 1371. It was rumored that she was having a secret romance with Aunadar Bleth.[3] She had conflicts with her parents about her belief in Chauntea. She mothered Azoun V.[citation needed]

AppearanceEdit

Tanalasta had long dark brown hair[4] and blue eyes.[5]

PossessionsEdit

Tanalasta has a hollow metal sphere that, upon spoken command, could transform into a key to unlock a secret vault in the depths of the royal palace. It is one of only five, the others possessed by the king, queen, Vangerdahast, and Tanalasta's sister, Alusair.[6]
