Teleportation circle was a conjuration spell that created a circle that teleported any creature inside to a designated spot.
The teleportation circles appeard on the floor or other horizontal surface. It functioned like the teleport without error spell. Any creature who stood within the circle was teleported to a designated spot. This designated spot could only be set once. The spell failed if the caster attempted to set the circle to teleport creatures into a solid object, to a place with which they were not familiar and had no clear description, or to another plane.
The circle itself was subtle and nearly impossible to notice. The caster needed to mark the circle in some way to keep creatures from activating it accidentally.
Teleportation circles were extremely difficult to detect and disarm.
This spell required amber dust to cover the area of the circle.
