A Toril thirteen was a set of thirteen warlocks who descended from the original thirteen tiefling warlocks who made pacts with Asmodeus.[1] Some devils collected sets of warlocks, and a Toril thirteen was considered one of the most difficult collections to acquire because one of the warlocks named Bryseis Kakistos had very few living heirs.[2]

Original ThirteenEdit

The names of some of the Thirteen were unknown. In addition to Kakistos the known original Thirteen were:

  • Phrenike
  • Nicodemus
  • Caisys the Vicelord
  • Caldura Elyria[3]
  • Titus Greybeard[4]
  • Margarites[5]
  • Zeal Harper

Known Complete SetsEdit

  • The cambion Lorcan had a full set of thirteen warlocks by 1478 DR.[6] However, during his imprisonment in Malbolge several of his Thirteen were either stolen by other devils or slain outright.
