Unluck was a wild magic spell that allowed the caster to affect the forces of chance around the target, giving it a stroke of bad luck for the duration of the spell.[2][3][1]

Proper casting of this spell required verbal and somatic components and the shard of a broken mirror,[2][3] which was tossed in the direction of the target and vanished.[1]

As a wild magic spell, unluck was especially common among wild mages.[2][3]

Oathbinder genies had the innate ability to use this spell three times per day.[5]
