This spell worked in the same manner as legend lore, except that vision worked more quickly and produced greater strain on the caster. The caster would pose a question about some person, place, or object, and then cast the spell. If the person or object was at hand or if the caster was in the place in question, he or she might received a vision about it, depending on how well-known the information in question was.
