Waymoot (pronounced: /ˈwmtWAY-moot[2]) was a small town in the King's Forest in Cormyr.[3][1][4]

It the location of The Moon and Stars, which was, according to Volo, one of the greatest taverns in all of the Realms.[4]

In 1368 DR, Waymoot, along with Espar, Eveningstar, and Tyrluk, was plagued by rogue dragons.[5]

Animal pelts from the Thunder Peaks and the Storm Horns did very good business in Waymoot as of 1368 DR.[6]
