Forest of Tethir

The Forest of Tethir, also known as Weldeath,^[1] is located in central Tethyr, just to the north of the Starspire Mountains. A large, yet not particularly dense woods, the trees of Tethir are very large and old, their wide trunks rising to a great height above. Many of the trees along the Trade Way were transplanted after the fall of Myth Drannor by the elven refugees of Cormanthor. ^[1]

The forest of Tethir is also the location of the elven city Suldanessellar, built high above the ground in the trees and housing the Tree of Life.
